Austria’s soul and R&B wonder

CANCELLED due to illness

Dear music fans!

Unfortunately we have bad news for all fans of Lou Asril. The concert has to be cancelled due to the corona illness of one of the band members. We are heartbroken, but hope to see you at the concerts of Zelda Weber on 17.4. and Yukno on 18.4.!

We ask for your understanding!

Shake to the beat

Lou Asril has got soul and he’s got style. His highly acclaimed debut single "Divine Goldmine," released in March 2019, doesn't miss its mark: with his velvety, unexpectedly soulful voice that’s powerful and deep, the music penetrates every fibre of the body. At the age of 11 he began classical piano training, and at 15 he appeared on stage for the first time with his own songs. At 17, he was number one at the Joe Zawinul Awards and toured the studios of Los Angeles.

The summer of 2020 then saw the release of his single “Berlin, Pretty City,” for which he collaborated with Hamburg hip-hop producer AgaJon.

Then, for their joint performance at the Austrian Amadeus Music Awards 2020, Lou Asril and (Conchita) WURST released the progressive, electronic cover of the Austrian hit “Lovemachine.” All this underscores that Lou Asril lives in a world full of feelings and gentle grooves, always keeping one eye on the dance floor and the other one tightly closed as he gazes inwards. This can also be heard and felt at one of his amazing live sets.
